Will one dose protect me if I'm leaving tomorrow?

Many vaccines provide useful partial protection from a single dose within days. It's almost always better to have one dose today than no protection at all. Our pharmacist will prioritise the most important vaccines for your destination.

Can I get multiple vaccines at once?

Yes — most travel vaccines can be given in the same appointment. Our pharmacist will advise if any specific combinations need to be spaced apart (this is rare).

What about Yellow Fever? Isn't there a 10-day rule?

The Yellow Fever certificate is only valid from 10 days after vaccination. If you're leaving in less than 10 days, the vaccine itself still works — but your certificate won't be valid for entry on arrival. Come as early as possible.

Do I need a GP referral?

No — you can book directly with us. No referral needed. We can prescribe and administer travel vaccines, anti-malarials, and altitude sickness medication on the same visit.

A single dose of Hepatitis A or Typhoid provides meaningful protection within days — even if the 'ideal' timing has passed.

Some malaria prevention options only need a day or two of lead time — our pharmacist can assess you and arrange it on the same visit.

4. Start multi-dose courses now

Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, and Hepatitis B require multiple doses — but starting the course now and completing it later is better than not starting at all.
